**Important Information**
All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable so please be sure to double-check registration requirements and the orientation date & time before registering.
An account must be created and a ticket must be purchased individually for each person attending orientation.
If you are a parent/guardian registering your child for orientation please use your child's information to register. When you register you are creating your volunteer profile so it is important the information collected during registration is for the individual that will be volunteering.
Individuals needing to volunteer to fulfill court-mandated community service hours do not go through the same onboarding process as general volunteers. Do not register for this orientation!
Please note, that if registrations are closed it means we have reached our capacity limit for the class.
Individuals 18 years and older are required to complete a background check with Sterling Volunteers.
- The fee for the background check is $15.50 and is paid directly to Sterling Volunteers. This is in addition to the $15 fee paid to the SAHS to reserve your seat at orientation.
- You will receive an email with the link needed to complete your background check after you register.
- If you have concerns about your ability to pass the background check, please contact the Volunteer Coordinator at volunteer@sahumane.org before registering for orientation.
