Información
PLEASE READ: We are not currently accepting new volunteers at our Shelby Forest location. If you're a former volunteer, feel free to message me directly and we can coordinate volunteer opportunities.
Thank you for your interest in helping out at the Out of the Woods Wildlife Rescue & Rehab Shelby Forest location! We care for orphaned and injured wildlife in Tennessee, such as raccoons, opossums, squirrels, rabbits, chipmunks, flying squirrels, foxes, rats, and mice. Specific daily responsibilities may vary based on the patients we have, but this shift will likely include:
- Food prep
- Feeding animals
- Cleaning enclosures
- Enrichment activities
Volunteers must be at least 16 years old. Most of this shift will take place outside, so make sure to dress for the weather. Please wear closed-toe shoes and clothes that you don't mind if they get a little dirty!
