American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Student Chapter at the University of Texas at Austin

The American Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at UT is an organization for students interested in research in biochemistry, molecular biology, and all related fields. In ASBMB, we talk about research currently being conducted on campus, host guests that talk about their experiences in research/industry/biotechnology, as well as conduct outreach for STEM to the public. ASBMB also runs the annual Fall Undergraduate Research Symposium, where undergraduates from around the nation come to present their research.

ASBMB is an independent organization under the umbrella of the Molecular Biosciences Club (MBS) and the Department of Molecular Biosciences.
