About
- The Student environmental team(S.E.T.) is a grass roots organization working with the GSU Campus. S.E.T. has become an integral part of the GSU culture through organizational affiliations and student relations. Introducing educational programs and hosting engaging events are avenues that S.E.T use to influence students to be more sustainability, or open to sustainable practices. The Student Environmental Team has thus far hosted two solar powered panel concerts, two end of semester camping trips, revamped the campus recycling program, and has been an integral part of getting the Sustainability Fee as part of the Student Activities Fee. Our main focuses are Energy Conservation, Water Conservation, Urban Gardening, and Recycling. Current members already have a passion for helping the environment. By having such different focuses, members get to explore whichever area of the environment interests them the most and learn more about the environment and themselves. We work, research, and promote small tasks to accomplish major goals.
