About
Purpose: The purpose of HPU’s Volunteer Center is to provide students with multiple, differing opportunities to serve and become involved both on our campus and within our community. The organization is a student-led program and offers a wide span of volunteer opportunities for all students interested in getting involved. Students are given opportunities to partner with local non-profit agencies, as well as enjoy and participate in the domestic and international alternative break service trips. The Volunteer Center partners with non-profit agencies including Habitat for Humanity, Communities in Schools, and much more. The Volunteer Center provides students with a multitude of opportunities, whether they want to help raise awareness, money, or spirits.
Membership Criteria: Any current students of High Point University are welcome to join the Volunteer Center, especially those with a passion or motivation to give back and become involved in service.
