About

The Residence Hall Association (RHA) is a student leadership organization for the residential
communities, which house the on-campus student population through the Department of
Housing and Residence Life. The purpose of the Residence Hall Association is to foster a sense of
community within and between the residential communities, as well as to promote the overall
residential experience within a living and learning community. The goal of the Residence Hall
Association is to also provide information, programs, and resources for residential campus
community students. RHA strives to give each on-campus resident a voice within Housing and
Residence Life as well as a voice within university administration. In its effort to give each on
campus student a voice, RHA emphasizes and promotes leadership and educational opportunities
in the residential communities, effective communication within and between the residential
communities and the Department of Housing and Residence Life, academic excellence for all
residential students, and a sense of self-respect for all individuals that reside within the on-campus
living community.
