| Descripción | TRANSPORTATION WILL NOT BE PROVIDED FOR THIS EVENT Book Buddies is a program of the SAISD Foundation that provides tens of thousands of free children’s books to students in San Antonio ISD schools. The pivotal goal of our program is to help children grow their own home libraries enabling them to be strong and proud readers. Volunteers will be sorting through books and dividing them into three reading grade-level categories. Books that do not fit into these categories will be placed into bins for trash (physically very damaged, marked on, or have missing stickers/parts), religious content (will be donated to churches), or donate (not age-appropriate) which will be donated to jails or other organizations - you are welcome to take and keep these books, too! |
