Wondering if you should register to volunteer? Based on the CDC guidelines, we are asking you the following questions:
  1. Have you been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19? See the CDC’s risk assessment guidance.

  2. Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a cough or shortness of breath or at least two of the following: Fever, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell. See the CDC’s symptom information.

If you answered "yes" to any of those questions, we ask you not to register. We are doing all we can to align with best practices and keep our community healthy.

1. When you arrive, speak with the outgoing volunteers to find out any relevant information you need to know for closing duties.
2. Begin to break-down the Market tent and materials about 30 minutes prior to the closing bell. 3. Keep one table and limited materials off to the side of the main street, but begin to take all other Market materials back to the storage closet (at the rear of Wythe Candy Store).
4. Take down banners and signage and return them to the storage closet.
5. After all of the Market tent, Chefs tent, and Market materials and signs are stored in their proper place, walk around and offer vendors help in packing up their materials.
6. After you have ensured all Market items are put away and all vendors are fine, check with the Market Manager to see if he/she requires anything else.

Williamsburg Farmers Market (WFM) will be open from 8AM to 12PM is relocating to the Francis Street Parking Lot (P6) at 410 W Francis Street.

MASKS are required to enter the market. This is in line with Governor Northam's, "No Shirt, No Shoes, No Mask, No Service."

Please report at the WFM information/token tent about 10 minutes before your shift begins. The manager, Tracy Frey, and tent regular volunteers will be on hand to help orient you. Parking is free in the Francis St. parking lot during the market.

Wear a mask (we’ll have ones if you don’t) and a WFM Volunteer T-shirt, provided at the tent. Copies of the vendor location map will be available.
