June Clean Lady Bird Lake

Greetings Volunteers, we’d like to thank you for volunteering for Keep Austin Beautiful's Clean Lady Bird Lake event. You'll be joining 100+ other volunteers to give some extra care to the lake and trails. You have signed up to participate in the Capital Cruises Waterway cleanup. A watercraft will be provided to you by Capital Cruises so there is no fee associated. **Please note that if you do not arrive by 9:15 a.m. on the day of the cleanup, you will automatically forfeit your spot on the lake and it will be offered to the next volunteer.**

Your Lake Leader for this site will be Shannon Shaddock from Capital Cruises and he will have your cleanup supplies, helpful safety guidelines, and further instructions for you.

Event Details

·    Starting Location: Volunteers will meet in front of Capital Cruises (208 Barton Springs Rd., Austin, TX 78704)

·    Parking: Parking is available underneath the S. 1st bridge or the Vic Mathias Shores parking lot

·    Things to Bring: A FULL bottle of water, snack, and your favorite face covering!

Join us at Roy G. Guerrero Park Plaza after the cleanup for some sweet treats and an outdoor lounging space provided by REI. We will be stationed at the park from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. and would love to hear your stories, as well as connect you with other volunteers to attend future events with so come on out!

If you are no longer able to attend, please cancel your shift at your earliest convenience to re-open those spots for registration.
