VERB 5K / 1-Mile Run

The VERB 5K Run will take place at the Iowa State University Cross Country Loop.  We will need volunteers to man stations along the way handing out water, and at the start and finish line handing out water, prizes, punching VERB Scorecards, and cheering on runners.

This summer we will be offering VERB kids (and parents) the opportunity to comlete a 5K run or a 1-mile run/walk.  This could be a great event to show off your running skills or to complete your first run.  Better yet, make it a whole family run!  Because we want everyone to participate and feel welcome we won't be awarding prizes for top finishers or tracking times (but you can track your own time).  We just want everyone to come out and be active and have fun!  We will be running the Iowa State University Cross Country Loop for the 5K and a 1-mile loop will be set up in the grassed area.
