The Other Ones Foundation is a nonprofit organization that aims to transition Austin's homeless neighbors into an engaged community through shelter, opportunity, and support. In addition, theynoffer low-barrier work opportunities, case management, and humanitarian aid to people experiencing homelessness in Austin.
At this event we will be creating mini first aid kits to donate to the organization to give out to residents within the Esperanza community.
Check-in will begin at 2:30pm in the St. Andre Multipurpose Room. Students will be required to wear a mask for the entirety of the event, as well as show their Topper Safe green badge upon arrival.

Wondering if you should register to volunteer? Based on the CDC guidelines, we are asking you the following questions:
- Have you been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19? See the CDC’s risk assessment guidance.
- Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a cough or shortness of breath or at least two of the following: Fever, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell. See the CDC’s symptom information.
