Westminster Winter Park, a nonprofit Senior living community, eagerly welcomes volunteers to join the Assisted Living Activities department in creating enriching programs for our residents! This is a dynamic and flexible position that will allow you to build relationships with older adults and gain experiences in schedule coordination, teamwork, and communication.

Responsibilities can be completed in a hybrid format (both remote and in-person) to accommodate a flexible schedule. The ideal candidate will be available approximately 20 hours per month to prepare for and attend various events.

Training, orientation, and regular supervision will ensure you feel comfortable in this role. We welcome your ideas, passions, and unique talents to enrich the team and community!

To ensure COVID-19 doesn't ruin the fun, all volunteers must show proof of full vaccination, will wear a new, surgical face mask while on campus, and will participate in a temperature screening upon arrival.

Wondering if you should register to volunteer? Based on the CDC guidelines, we are asking you the following questions:

Have you been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19? See the CDC’s risk assessment guidance.
Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a cough or shortness of breath or at least two of the following: Fever, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell. See the CDC’s symptom information.

If you answered "yes" to any of those questions, we ask you not to register. We are doing all we can to align with best practices and keep our community healthy.

Upon entry through the gates, turn to the right at the first stop sign to enter the covered garage. Park in any space on the 4th floor that does not have a white number at the end of the spot. Come down the elevator to floor 2, and walk along the covered walkway to the main entrance.
