CSRA Walk for Water

Many women and children around the world are forced to spend 2-3 hours each day walking to collect water. They travel between one and four miles, but sadly, the water they collect is unsafe for drinking. The CSRA Walk for Water 2023 aims to honor these individuals and raise funds to provide clean, safe, and sustainable water to communities worldwide.

The CSRA Walk for Water is designed to support Water Mission, a nonprofit organization located in Charleston, SC. Water Mission works tirelessly to develop and implement safe water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) solutions for people living in impoverished countries and areas affected by disasters. By participating in this Walk, you can help make a significant difference in the lives of those who desperately need assistance.

Join us at the CSRA Walk for Water 2023, where teams from both sides of the Savannah River and people from all walks of life will unite to fight against the global water crisis, which impacts 2.2 billion individuals worldwide. We will gather at state-of-the-art SRP Park in North Augusta, SC, on Saturday, November 18. Gates will open at 8:00, and the Walk will begin at 9:00 a.m. Registering in advance of the Walk gives you plenty of time to pick up your Walk t-shirt and participant materials.
