LI Maritime Museum: Visitor Services Volunteer

Visitor Services volunteers engage visitors when they arrive at the Museum, provide support to office staff, and handle admission and gift shop sales.

Main Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and introduce them to the Museum
• Complete admission and gift shop transactions using register
• Pick up phone calls to answer general questions or take messages
• When needed assist office staff with mailings, filing, data entry

Opportunities are available Monday-Friday during the Museum's open hours, and occasionally for special events.
