The BIG Event 2024

What is The BIG Event?

The BIG Event is a one-day, student-led service project sponsored by Auburn University’s Office of Student Involvement. Since its beginning in 2003, the program has served as an opportunity for Auburn University students to give back to the Auburn and Opelika communities by performing basic community service tasks for households, businesses, churches, and organizations as a way of saying thank you for making Auburn a great community to live in. Each year, hundreds of Auburn students go out into the community and serve through The BIG Event. We are so thankful to all of our wonderful volunteers that truly make Auburn one big family! We believe in work, yard work!

The BIG Event 2024

This year, Big Event 2024 is working on continuing service to our community while keeping everyone safe. We are excited to host The BIG Event on March 23, 2024.

9:00 AM - Kickoff Program Begins - Official Welcome from IMPACT Leadership

9:15 AM - Keynote Speaker

9:30 AM - Volunteers travel to project sites

10:00 AM - 12:00 PM - Volunteers serve throughout the Auburn/Opelika communities.
