National Voter Registration Day - Volunteer Sign Up

National Voter Registration Day (NVRD) is a day of civic unity. It’s an opportunity to set aside differences, enjoy the rights, responsibilities, and opportunities we all share as Americans, and celebrate our democracy together!

Election season is heating up, and we want to be sure you’re ready to VOTE!

📌Celebrate NVRD on September 17th by volunteering to staff our voter registration tables at the University of La Verne Main Campus (in the City of La Verne) or the College of Law and Public Service (in the City of Ontario).

As a volunteer, you will be assisting our community to:
* REGISTER new voters
* HELP registered voters check their status
* COLLECT online Pledges to Vote

📍 Sign up for a shift TODAY!

Join the University of La Verne and our surrounding communities in our efforts to register over 5 million Americans to vote in time for the next trip to the ballot box. POWER TO THE POLLS!

This event is sponsored by the Office of Alumni Engagement, the College of Law and Public Service, Associated Students of University of La Verne (ASULV), Graduate and Adult Student Government (GASG), the Office of Civic and Community Engagement (OCCE) & Andrew Goodman Foundation Vote Everywhere Ambassadors, Government Relations Office of the President, the League of Women Voters - Mt. Baldy, NAACP of Pomona Valley, the Cultural Awareness and Social Inclusion Committee (CASi) of the City of La Verne, the City of La Verne Councilwoman Wendy Lau!

About National Voter Registration Day (NVRD)

According to U.S. Census data from 2020, as many as 1 in 4 eligible Americans are not registered to vote. Every year, millions of Americans find themselves unable to vote because they miss a registration deadline, don’t update their registration, or aren’t sure how to register. National Voter Registration Day seeks to create broad awareness of voter registration opportunities during a single 24-hour democracy blitz to reach tens of thousands of voters who may not register otherwise.
