Come join us Sunday, February 23^rd to help clean up our old haunts along Williamson Creek!

Williamson Creek West Greenbelt is an overlooked and hidden parcel of land that is home to over 100 species of plants and wildlife. Situated in the thick of the Edwards Aquifer Recharge Zone, this space is critical for our water supply and the ecosystem. Being closed in on all sides by highways and a major thoroughfare, Williamson Creek West Greenbelt requires lots of love and attention and it is past overdue for the SACA treatment.

We will meet at 9am at 6310 Brush Country Road. Look for the pop-up tent. Some light refreshments and coffee will be available. After a safety check and a bit of background about the creek, we will get started and head into the greenbelt. The area is wild and rocky, with uneven surfaces. Please dress accordingly for the weather. Long pants and sturdy, closed-toe shoes are always the best options when doing a creek-clean-up. Gloves and grabbers will be provided. Please bring a water bottle.
