Harvest & Heal Festival – Student Participation Opportunity
Hosted by Sunny Side Up Charity in collaboration with Urban GreenWorks, the Harvest & Heal Festival is a community wellness event taking place on Friday, May 31st from 12–4 PM at Cerasee Farm in Liberty City.
This event honors Mental Health Awareness Month through hands-on activities focused on healing, sustainability, and connection to the earth. Students are invited to participate as volunteers, presenters, or workshop assistants. We're especially interested in student-led involvement from clubs like Eco Club or wellness-oriented groups.
Opportunities include:
🌱 Presenting on sustainability, wellness, or environmental themes
🧘 Supporting mindfulness and breathwork sessions
🍯 Assisting with herbal and honey workshops
🛍️ Helping with welcoming attendees & wellness vendors and setup
🍋 Participating in the farm walk-through and harvest
This is a great way to earn service hours, connect with community leaders, and help co-create a space of healing and empowerment.
If you would like to volunteer, please email or call Jaz Espinal, the founder of Sunny side Up Charity, at jazminpespinal@gmail.com or 973-955-9121.
