Información

This is our May OPEN Letter writing campaign. READ EACH LETTER DESCRIPTION!

We have added each Elder to their own shift.

You do not have to register for all, but make sure you write the letters you have registered for.

To participate, you must be able to write up to 1 meaningful letter to the number of listed elders on each shift.

REQUIREMENT: Letters must be 3/4 notebook page, follow the given guidelines and must be substantive as well as entertaining. LETTERS CANNOT BE CARDS or poorly written.

You will receive 1 community service hour per 2 letters, if the letters follow the guidelines given.

Letters MUST be turned in to Mrs. Clayton in Room 223, or during our End of the Month Social in the GYM during lunch. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE SIGNED YOUR NAME!

Because letters need to be reviewed and addressed to the individuals listed, no letters can be accepted after the deadline. Your letters will be read by our executive board, and if approved, you will receive the credit for the hours.

Please take your time and remember that there is a needy person who will look forward to reading your words to feel better.

OUR PLANS: We plan to flood these adults with Love from Turner Tech.  Please review the letter request link here to get to know the adults you will be writing to: https://loveforourelders.org/letter-requests.

Please read each request carefully! The info has been added to the shifts. CANCEL your registration if you are unable to fill that request.
