Law Library Relocation Project--Volunteers Needed ASAP

The Miami-Dade County Law Library is moving to a new location soon, and we are urgently seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help us pack up the entire law library. 

Tasks include, but are not limited to: 

• labeling boxes
• sorting through books and other materials
• weeding out the collection and possibly later on, helping with other related programs and activities associated with the upcoming move. 

Our project has 3 phases and is on-going.  We are now into the final stages of Phase 2 - packing and labeling.  Phase 3 (anticipated to continue well into 2025 and possibly 2026) is the unpacking of the boxes etc, will go on until the library is completely unpacked and up and running.  

Volunteer days are Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, and on Saturdays (as needed) from 9-12pm.
