As part of an Integrated Clinical Experience, Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) students will:

  • Promote awareness and respect for health conditions in underinsured and underserved populations 

  • Assess movement dysfunction primarily associated with orthopedic conditions 

  • Provide physical therapy interventions 

  • Provide health education and promotion to prevent movement dysfunction and optimize health while considering social determinants of health 

  • Gain exposure to pro bono clinics and their operation 

  • Engage with interpreter and patients with limited English proficiency
