Camp Contemporary is a festive summer camp experience for adults—complete with camp-inspired fare, craft cocktails, live music, outdoor activities, artist-led workshops, and so much more!
All proceeds benefit The Contemporary Austin's art education programs serving over 30,000 children and adults each year.
Volunteer positions range from set-up, assisting with art-making activities and other activity areas, event check-in and event breakdown.
Volunteers will be able to enjoy the event during provided breaks. If a volunteer wishes to attend the event outside of shift hours, either before or after their registered shift, discounted tickets will be available for $50. A discount code will be provided after picking up a volunteer shift.
Volunteers will each recieve one baseball cap and 20% off in the Camp Trading Post. Light refreshments and breaks will be provided during each shift.
***VOLUNTEER POLICIES***
- Volunteers must be at least 21 years old as of Saturday, October 20th, 2018.
- Volunteers must reside in the Central Texas area.
- Failure to perform duties as expected/required may result in dismisall from the event and from volunteering for The Contemporary Austin in the future.
- Volunteers must complete their volunteer assignment in a satisfactory way (reporting on time for shifts, staying the full lenght of the shift, respecting other volunteers, staff and patrons of the event).
- Use of alcohol and/or other substances while on duty is strictly prohibited. Violators will be subject to immediate dismissal.
- Missing or cancelling a shift within 24 hours of your shift will result in being removed from future volunteer opportunities.
