I enjoyed the workshop. I am extremely passionate with environmental sustainability, so being able to hear from people who have experience actually working towards making an impact with it was extremely exciting for me.
I had a really nice time learning about how I can get involved at GW with organizations like the Grow garden and ensure that we are doing our part to save our environment. It was great to see how Casey Trees has turned environmental activism into real policies that are actively making DC and our country better.
I really enjoyed this workshop as I got to learn more about the different programs and organization on and off campus that work towards making D.C more sustainable and towards helping the environment. The speakers were all really nice and helpful towards teaching us about these programs.
I thought that all the guest speakers provided extremely insightful information. They also all provided opportunities for students to get engaged in their work within GW and the greater DC area once we all return to campus.
I love how all of this translated back to the impact of the campus. Learning about GW is making strides in a city making strides and the community Gardens the CSA.
Overall I really enjoyed the session and hope to do more virtual and, hopefully, in person service soon
