First-Year Scholars LAUNCH!

I had a good experience, this meeting taught me about the ins and outs of the Prince George's County Promise Scholarship. I also had an opportunity to ask my team leader about the difference in workload from high school to college. I did not necessarily make an impact, I was a spectator for the most part. Although I did contribute when I was expected to the discussion.

I learned about the requirements to maintain my scholarship by keeping up at least a 2.0 GPA and also having at least 10 hrs of service hours every semester. We also learned about our various scholarship advisors and how to contact them.
