We went over campaigns, ways to get our 10 hours in, and events. We even had a guest speaker show up for the first half of the meeting.
The event was very exciting! I really enjoyed the guest speaker, Ms. Jasmine Williams and I appreciate the stories and experiences that she shared with everyone. Many of them I relate to as my first year as a freshman. I also appreciate the breakout rooms and I got to ask questions that I needed some confirmation on.
I learned and lot of information about resources I can use to be more successful in school. I also learned to stay focused on the bigger goal.

It was an interesting event to attend. Shoutout to the speaker for that emotional story. It can be hard to be openly vulnerably like they were.
I loved getting to talk with my group in the breakout rooms!
