It was a good experience to see some of the school leadership, connect with peers, meet new people, and serve the community even through small actions. Although it didn't do exactly as planned, I wasn't too disappointed because I was still able to learn something from the experience.
Even though the event did not go as planned with the girl scouts not arriving on time, I was still able to make an impact by writing encouragement letters and taking the brother and sister club on a tour of the school.
I was so happy that I was able to give back to the community through beautification. I engaged in painting pots and planting flowers for the community center.
