Reclaim Your Vote & Voice

The zoom was very informational and the speakers gave me very important information on voting and why it is so important to vote. It changed my perception on voting because before, I thought voting didn't change anything in our society, but I learned that it can change a lot.

The "Reclaim your Vote & Voice" event was very beneficial because it talked about how a lot of young people should vote and be able to allow their voices to be heard. This is because many people think that their vote won't make a difference but really each vote/voice is heard when people actually take a stand to vote.

I thoroughly enjoyed this event; I learned a lot about voter suppression that I never knew of. it really emphasized the importance of voting especially as African Americans. I'll definitely be voting on November 8th.
