Blanket Project

I've always really enjoyed hands-on humanitarian work to create items that go into the community to improve the lives of others. The blanket drive was a great way to not only to help the homeless community but also bond with the AUC community as well. It was not a light task to make a fleece blanket alone so inviting friends to participate in the event helped to speed up the process and make as many blankets as possible. This service opportunity was not only fun with the music and vibes, but it was an event that left me feeling like I positively impacted those around me as well.

I definitely enjoyed this Blanket Project. Not only was it a very beautiful moment to sit and bond with my peers, but the meaning behind it was very important as well. I highly encourage everyone to particiapte in projects like these, not for the sake of collecting hours, but being apart of something that really matters and touches the hearts of those who need it.
