During my first hour shift I helped set up the snack/hospitality table and began checking in donors. The second shift I helped the nurses and escorted donors to their stations and helped them through the process.

It was amazing to see all the support from the students here on campus donating blood for people in need. I was able to volunteer and talk to the donors along with making sure they felt okay and were drinking enough fluids. I would definitely come back and volunteer again with the Red Cross!
