Once again, I was honored to be part of the South Beach Wine and Food Festival as part of the plating and registration for four amazing events. As part of the plating team, I worked alongside the chefs to set up everything and prepare the dishes served during the event. As part of the registration group, I was the first person to welcome the guests and scan their invitations to the event. This was my third year doing the South Bean Wine and Food Festival, and it was my first time being part of the registration team. I had an amazing experience at this festival, and some of my favorite parts about this volunteer opportunity were my ability to visit new places, network, learn about new dishes, and have fun while helping my community and school.
