Volunteering in the outreach event was a rewarding experience! It allowed me to practice clinical skills with free screenings, educate community members, and help promote awareness of hypertension and diabetes. The members of the event were very welcoming!
My friend and I drove to Ridgeland High and drove back to the JFC building, but no one was there. We waited, but no one came.
