For the past month, I had the pleasure of volunteering with Mrs. Sturdivant and her first grade class at McNair elementary. The students and faculty welcomed me with open arms. This experience has been exhilarating. I made a tremendous impact on the youth as I was able to become a mentor. I was able to watch the students grow academically as well as socially. I can't wait to return in January.
