Cherry Blossom Picnic

We made paper like kites to represent children's day in honor of japanese culture that day. This day had a lot of people along with bands and food trucks. It was a fun experience that I would definitely do again.

I had a really good time at the Botanic Gardens. We explained to kids and family about "Children's Day" in Japan and helped them make koinobori out of paper. The event had a great deal of people and everyone seemed to have a good time. I recommend that volunteers do this event at least once.
