I had a great time interacting with the kids and allowing them to get fresh produce and enjoy some arts and crafts.
This was a great experience!! I love volunteering with kids!
I engaged with students about healthy eating and living habits, assisted with healthy living charades and worksheets, helped them design their own tote bags for shopping high-quality fruits and vegetables, and distributed produce to reinforce the importance of healthy eating at home.
