CS-1: Direct Service with Nonprofit (50 points)

Being an ambassador for the non-profit program is a great way to boost civic engagement, especially since it deals with geopolitical conflicts, by serving as an ambassador, I get to become more community driven and cater to the public.

This experience was really good because I got to make real change in my community. I also have gotten to work with and meet a ton of civically engaged youth from across the state, which has helped me learn from them. I got to help my community have more registered voters so that everyone can make their voice heard in the political proccess.

Tibet Fest was an amazing time. Both as a helper to the organization, and as a viewer talking to other groups. This was the first time, so I'm looking forward to next year!

Getting outside and walking around gathering food for the people in need makes me feel like we have an impact on the people and comunity around us.
