About
CCPH is an outreach program in the Department of Kinesiology and Health that focuses on supporting community health programming. Programming is coordinated within the Physical Activity and Health Promotion Lab and is linked to a Departmental course (HS 4300) that provides training on community health programming.
The CCPH group is a service hub that works in partnership with the ISU Translational Research Network (U-TuRN) and that provides support for the Community Engagement Club (CEC). The CCPH team and the CEC collectively support and manage the GivePulse network to promote community engagement efforts on campus and across the state.
The CCPH team supports county and community health programming across the state. Focus has been on the promotion of the Move Your Way campaign and related physical activity initiatives.
