Paws Up Service Day | Spring 2024 | 15th Anniversary Edition

Pearsall Park is 505 acres and is designed to offer a dynamic open space with fitness and recreational amenities ideal for facilitating health/wellness/sports activities and outdoor family/social gatherings.

Volunteers will meet at the Pearsall Pavilion and will be assisting with litter pick up throughout the park.

The City of San Antonio Parks and Recreation will provide all the needed materials such as trash bags, litter grabbers, and gloves for the cleanup.

Volunteer Safety Tips:

• Wear closed-toe shoes and clothes that they can get dirty.
• Bring plenty of water
• Kick it before you pick it! Give pieces of trash a little kick before you pick it up in case there are any bugs/critters
• Do not empty soda bottles/cans. Just toss it into the bag
• Do not pick up and collect large pieces of debris (tires, couches, etc.)
• Do not touch broken glass or needles

ALL Volunteers will need to complete the following waiver before attending the event
