Descripción

Seton Home is a residential facility that provides shelter and support services for pregnant and their babies. It conducts various spiritual and community building activities.

Seton Home works to break the cycle of abuse and poverty by providing a caring home, education, and support services necessary to transform the lives of pregnant and parenting teen mothers and their children.

In response to a growing need for services to pregnant teens in 1987, the Archdiocese gave the agency use of three acres at 1115 Mission Road, which is their current location.

With expansion of their services and client base, Seton Home now sits on eight acres and includes three cottages, a state licensed Child Development Center, chapel, the Dr. Leslie Parks Education Center, a sports court and administrative buildings.

Today Seton Home serves 48 families who have been removed from their homes due to abuse, neglect and sexual assault and are placed by Child Protective Services.

Volunteers will assist by: general campus beautification, organizing/sorting donations, sanitizing the playground, and picking up small sticks & debris to clear pathways for mothers and strollers.
