Your Site Leader for this site will be Gabriel Arellano via STEMSign. He will have your cleanup supplies, helpful safety guidelines, and further instructions for you.

Event Details

Location: Blunn Creek Greenbelt

Parking: Parking is available in the lot within Big Stacy Park (good walking distance to the site).  Or south of Little Stacy Park among 1500 East Side Dr, Austin, TX 78704.

Join Keep Austin Beautiful at Blunn Creek Greenbelt to clean up litter from in and around STEMS’ adopted Blunn Creek and learn more about how you can protect your local creek from 10:00 in the morning to 2:00 in the afternoon of Saturday 15 April 2023.

We will provide cleanup supplies and rubber boots on site as well as sunscreen and bug spray.  We will meet at the Blunn Creek Greenbelt, which is indicated by the sign post.

Please remember to wear close-toed shoes and durable clothing as the terrain may be rough in some areas. Conditions may be wet as we will be working along and within the creek; please dress appropriately! Long pants and a hat are also recommended. Be sure to bring a full water bottle and stay hydrated.

This site has both paved trail areas that are generally easily accessed and more difficult/steeper areas as one moves closer to the creek. We will be working in both types of terrain as much as possible, so feel free to work to your comfort and ability.

Parking is along in the street: East Side Drive by Blunn Creek Greenbelt, 1500 East Side Drive, Austin, Texas 78704. Carpooling is highly encouraged!

Things to Bring: Full water bottle, a light snack, durable clothes (long pants and close-toed shoes), a hat

If you are no longer able to attend, please cancel your shift at your earliest convenience to re-open those spots for registration.

Thanks again for being involved in making Austin such a unique and beautiful place to live and experience!
