In this workshop, I learned a lot of things that could help me succeed in college. For example, I learned how to create an email signature in Outlook, which was pretty cool, how to write emails, and how to communicate professionally in different settings. Overall, it was very informative, and I plan to use what I learned moving forward.
I attended Pizza and Productivity with Wise Path, and it went really great because I got time to finish some schoolwork while engaging with my peers. I also got to eat free food, like pizza, and gained a lot of tips and advice on studying and note-taking.
I attended the “Virtual Interviewing – Success Tips” session hosted by Career Development & Internships. It was a very informative session, and I was able to learn a lot of things that I can use to help me do better in my interviews.
It was a really fun event. I got to spend time with my peers and meet new people. Everyone was so cool, and the karaoke and waffles were really great. If there’s a next time, I will definitely come again!
I attended the HNIP program hosted by the STEM Collegiate Center. It was a very good and informative session because I got to learn about the types of internships the Hispanic Association offers and what types of requirements you have to meet.
I attended the Fall 2026 Transfer Fair at Largo. In hoping to speaks with representatives from different schools to find out which works best for me, in terms of opportunities and just knowing my options. I spoke with people from George Washington, UMBC, UMD, UMES, Towson, Morgan and etc.
I attended the mini-session for the ‘Personal Enrichment,’ and it’s was very informative, especially learning how to use the GivePulse website and making sure you are entering accurate information.
I attended the women’s soccer game against Carroll to support the team, and they won 2-1.
I attended the “Career Literacy: Creating a Blueprint for Success” session with Wise Path and learned a lot about careers and how to figure out which career path is right for me.
The new student convocation was a really great experience for me because I met a lot of people and made new connections. Plus, I received a lot of cute items and free food, like Chick-fil-a sandwich & the Rita’s Ice.
