It is sweet to get to help and aid service when I am not hands-on with the children in other countries the Brdigades are helping. Many of my friends have led and gone on multiple mission trips with the Mecidal and Dental Bridgade and they always come back more certain in their career path that they get to actively help others.
I have never volunteered for trail clean-up before, but this was one of the highlights of my week. Two uninterrupted hours in nature with a couple of podcasts going and helping to restore fields and parking lots of the trail to the natural beauty. It made me sad how many cigarette buds were in an outdoor space for children's sports. But, did make me happy there weren't many soda bottles or water bottles, and has me thinking more people are geared towards reusable items.
I enjoy being able to aid my fellow peers in their academic journey. This is also beneficial to help me focus more in class and take very detailed notes.
I appreciate the accountability being a note taker has installed in me. I valued the opportunity to give back to fellow Arkansas students.
Thank you for your flexibility on location Kinsey! So glad you were able to collect so much trash there!! And really appreciate your focus on cigarette butts- they are so often overlooked.
