This was such an amazing experience! All of the staff were so friendly, helpful, and I could tell how passionate they were about helping these animals. I helped the cats and I absolutely fell in love with them and their stories. 100% will do again.

I loved this project. It gave me a little sneak peak into local history and I know that my help will help conserve our local history. This specific project allowed me to be able to contribute in my busy schedule which I very much appreciated.
We spent time cleaning and cooking at the Ronald McDonald House in Spokane, WA. We made about 40 pre-made breakfast sandwiches for the families that stayed at the house that they can just heat up and take to go. We cleaned the kitchen by wiping down countertops, sweeping, swiffering, and sweeping up the leaves in the parking lot. It was amazing to be able to travel to our sorority's philanthropy and actually helping make a difference. I felt even more connected to our philanthropy than ever before.
I continued by work with the Boys and Girls Club by coaching elementary aged girls from 10:30-11:30 am and continuing with my regular group of 6-9th grade girls from 11:45-12pm.
Every Saturday, I volunteered 1 hour to coach a clinic for 6-9th grade volleyball players. I designed and lead lesson plans by engaging the players in active play with their teammates.
This was such a good panel. Even though I had already voted before attending this event, I still found it very informative and reassuring, especially as a first time voter. I also appreciated how all the panelists were unbiased when giving us this information, as well as the constant reassurance that voting by mail is safe.
