On Monday, March 21st, I met with members of the LNC to help with the Motivational Monday event. While being at the event, I was able to reach out to the students personally and get to know some of their issues. While doing that, I was able to hand out a paper with information about what type of things college students deal with. We also had a board for them to write messages to the other college students to finish off the semester.

Each week, on my own for an hour, I would take the time to think and plan out an event that I would like to do before the semester is up. Receiving information from the LNC, I was able to think of ideas for a support group.

Every week, I met with others working with the LaTasha Norman Center to discuss what were some needs for the Jackson State and city of Jackson. We did research on varies problems like mental health, abuse in different forms, depression and so much more. We also began planning events for campus like Motivational Monday.
