I always enjoy working to improve our natural community with Trees Atlanta. I organized for my ROTC detachment to come together and work with Trees Atlanta to remove weeds in the Atlanta woods area.
I enjoyed every moment with the friendly staff and engaging students. 10/10 will most definitely do again :)
(Executing This Event) I organized, planned, and executed a community service outreach for students in a Computer Science scholarship organization. We went to a local elementary school on Monday, Wednesday, and (soon) Friday to teach the children how to understand algorithms, problem-solving, team building and individual creativity skills, and basic programming knowledge at a low level. We did this through fun play dough activities, virtual reality escape rooms, and a programming simulator on Code.Org called “Dance Party”.
