It was nice to take a break from the rush of daily life and do something small but nice for my community. We collected more trash than I thought we would which was awesome.

Even though the event did not go as planned with the girl scouts not arriving on time, I was still able to make an impact by writing encouragement letters and taking the brother and sister club on a tour of the school.

I donated 5 folders and a tissue box for the back-to-school drive. The school supplies go to Gillespie Park Elementary School. I am so glad to be able to make a difference. I have been given the privilege to afford school supplies but not everyone has that. I am grateful to be able to bless someone else.
