The event was a unique and fun way to learn about new ways to become a leader. Also, a fun way to engage with the youth and crate art that can inspire.

I attended this event that aimed to promote health equity and educate the community of East Greensboro about various health-related issues. The event featured exciting and fun ways of offering children an outlet to have fun and covered topics ranging from healthy eating habits to mental health awareness. In addition, there were also several booths set up that provided free health screenings and distributed informational brochures and having fun activities to get engagement from children. The event was a great success, and it was heartening to see so many children and adults come together to support the cause of health equity and education.
Volunteering to read to first and second graders at TMSA can be a rewarding experience. Not only does it provide an opportunity to give back to the community, but it's also a chance to help young students develop their reading skills and cultivate a love for learning. By sharing your time and knowledge, you can make a positive impact on the lives of these children and help shape their future.
For our previous service event, we collected sneakers to donate to those in need. We were looking for gently used or new sneakers that could be given to individuals who may not have had access to proper footwear. It was a great opportunity to give back to our community and make a positive impact on someone's life.
Volunteering at Second Harvest Food Bank can be a fulfilling experience. Not only are you helping to fight hunger in your community, but you also get to meet new people and learn new skills. By giving your time and energy, you are making a positive impact on the lives of those in need.
Attended the service event that aimed to promote the importance of hand hygiene and teach kids how to avoid germs. The event featured interactive activities that helped children learn about proper hand washing techniques and tips for staying healthy. It was heartening to see so many kids enthusiastic about learning and taking steps to protect their health.

Volunteering at Backpack Beginnings has been an incredibly rewarding experience for me. I have volunteered through my two organizations ( Mentoring for H.E.R & 100 Collegiate Women) over the past years. The organization is dedicated to providing food, comfort, and support to children in need throughout the greater Greensboro area. As a volunteer, I have had the opportunity to contribute to this important work by packing and distributing backpacks filled with nutritious food to local schoolchildren who might not otherwise have enough to eat.
