In the past month, I have introduced new curriculums to the 6th graders to add more variety to their learning. For the last day of the quarter, 2/17, we had a pizza party and played a review game to go over all the words we learned together this far. I look forward to continuing this semester!

Today I taught 6th graders basic ASL like letters and conversational phrases. At the end of our lesson, we played sign language hangman to gauge their retention of the teachings. I hope they enjoyed this time as much as I did!

Today I facilitated activities and instructed participating volunteers on how to carry out specific services. I enjoyed hosting this event and was impressed by the turnout!

It was great getting to meet new people while serving our community. During our time we built 4 beds and a headboard that immediately went up for sale. I’m proud of my group for our efforts today!
