For the past 11 years I've had the privilege of working in hospice in New Mexico, Arizona and Colorado. Being present with a person who is near death or actively dying is an honor. Whether it's listening talk about their lives and loves, singing at their bedside, or just holding their hand, being part of hospice is an incredible experience.
