When I came into the pantry I was instructed to help with organizing the place. We were looking at all the food/ and drinks that we had, and we tried making more space. Organizing is what we started to do. There were a few pallets of drinks and what not, and we simply made them nice and tighter so more can fit, and apart from that we also got rid of the things that would go to waste. Then after we finished doing that, I helped with organizing a few things into shelfs and that was all for my hour at the pantry.

Today there wasn't all that much to do, what we mostly did was organize the pantry and we actually have a few toys so we loaded those into a truck where they were sent out, we also put the food (school food) that we got on Wednesday and a few people came by to pick them up and we loaded that into there cars, we also got som beagles and separated a few into bags then we put those into containers, and I stayed for a while to just help with cleaning that needed to get done around the place.

Here I did a lot, so we actually received a few containers of food, to be specific it was school food. What we did was organize it all into the fridge, and just put the boxes inside, we also made a few bags of food in which we put 4 types of things in each bag. we did this until we ran out of supplies to complete a bag, after this I started organizing the boxes that weren't needed and we loaded that into the truck. I took a ride where we got rid of the cardboard I helped unload and was one of the last people staying, I cleaned up and mopped and sweep and just got ready to close the pantry for the day

What we did this day was actually a lot, Tuesdays are the most busy days because later on through the day thats when people come and pick up food and what not. Since I went in the morning from 8:30-1:30 I helped with preparing the food in bags, and simply separating foods, we had a lot of food deliveries and all we did was simply organize and just prepare for the evening to give away the food

So here at the pantry it was my first time ever going and I was well greeted and explained what needed to get done, I first started off with actually getting in a truck and we went to different grocery stores picking up food, and we organized it in the truck and finally went back to the pantry where we unloaded all the food picked up and kept in storage so it doesn't go bad, then we started cleaning up the food that had gone bad, or the boxes, and just cleaning trash in general, leaving us to finally just be done with the day.
