This was such a fun way to be involved with the community and get into the halloween spirit. Seeing all the kids in their costumes and having fun was such a fun experience.

This zoom was extremely informative about some local volunteer opportunities in Fayetteville. They had 3 companies talk; United Way NWA, Beaver Watershed Alliance, and NWA Land Trust. These companies each talked about how they impact NWA and what area their nonprofit specially aids. United Way NWA helps to serve underprivileged familles and make sure they are connected to the best resources that will best improve their situation. Beaver Watershed Alliance works to make sure that the local watershed, beaver lake, is not polluted and that all the different streams that fed into it are not getting to flooded and destroying land nearby. NWA Land Trust works as a conversation nonprofit. They want to make sure there is protected land in NWA so that people can enjoy the beauty of the natural land. Lastly, we talked about some events they are having for Earth week next week! I thought this zoom was extremely informative and I will definitely be looking at the organizations next time I want to serve!
